A longtime champion of justice is gravely ill at a San Francisco hospital, The Leslie Brodie Report has learned.
Phil Kay, who has been clinging to life for the past month, is still on life support and is surrounded by family.
Kay, a well-known plaintiffs' attorney, gained famed for his role as the lawyer who beat Jerome Falk of Howard Rice in the case of Reena Weeks vs. Baker McKenzie.
The verdict in that case sent shock waves reverberating throughout the legal community that sexual harassment and discrimination of female lawyers and staff will not be tolerated.
Kay is married to Robina Kay, who sources describe as "the best paralegal in California."
